Kennedy Space Center, the Doobie Brothers and biking on Cocoa Beach are just a few of our highlights this week.  The little town of Cocoa is one of the most vibrant we have seen so far in terms of locally owned businesses and community development.  A goldilocks town that was just right for a week. Ryan's pizza, the Bike shop and a local pottery were favorites.

The Space Center brought back memories from the first moon walk and the shuttle program and we walked in Neil Armstrong's footsteps on the actual Apollo 11 service bridge. The Doobie Brothers played an outdoor concert to benefit the Boys and Girls Club. We also enjoyed biking on the wide beaches as well as along the scenic drive of historic homes near our marina. Ron Jon's Surf Shop, the Sand Bar and Coconuts were hopping with the beginning of Spring Break- nice to have an infusion of young people in senior land!

  2. The Doobie Brothers! One of my all time favorites, and the first concert I ever attended (1974). Great stuff!
