Saint Augustine was a crazy mix of ancient Spanish history and modern day tourism. The architecture was bold and the Spanish moss beautiful but the trolley tours kept rolling by...

We enjoyed the Lightner Museum full of a Chicago publishing magnate's collections from all ages and genres. We elected not to pay 15 dollars to drink from the fountain of youth and posed for pics next to Ponce de Leon instead.  Henry Flagler built the most recent additions to the town in the late 1800's including the vibrant Flagler College which balances out the retiree and tourist populations.
